When you install Oracle Developer Suite 10g Release 2 on windows 7 and try to open any form within the builder, you may face the following issues..

Oracle Forms Designer Has stopped Working

Windows can check online for a solution to the problem.

---> Check online for a solution and close the program
----> close the program

What is the solution ? 

There is two solution for this issue.

Solution # 1

1. Open form builder.
2.  Make connection with database.
3.  Now open the form.

If solution # 1 doesn't work in your case then your need metalink (support.oracle.com) access which required valid support account.

 Solution #2

1. Download Patchset no. 7047034
2. Extract in root drive like C:\ 7047034
3. open command prompt with admin previlage (@ write cmd)
4. set oracle_home like (C:\Users\Administrator>set oracle_home=C:\DevSuiteHome_1)
5. set PATH=%ORACLE_HOME%\OPatch;%PATH% like (C:\Users\Administrator>set PATH=%ORACLE_HOME%\OPatch;%PATH%)
6. go to patchset folder like (C:\Users\Administrator>cd c:\7047034)
7. write opatch apply like (c:\7047034>opatch apply)

8. When your see >>Is this system ready for updating?
   Please respond Y|N > << Type Y and press Enter Key

9. at finishing you will see >>OPatch succeeded.
   OPatch returns with error code = 0 <<

10. write cscript //nologo remove_demo.js like (c:\7047034>cscript //nologo remove_demo.js)

Your are done. ;)

Now open form builder and open any form without error.

How can easily you change your computer drive name

সহজেই পরিবর্তন করেন কম্পিউটারের ড্রাইভ লেটার।D ড্রাইভকে বানিয়ে ফেলুন Y Drive অথবা ইচ্ছামত যেকোন

আমাদের সবার কম্পিউটারেই কয়েকটা ড্রাইভ থাকে।যেমন C: D: E: ড্রাইভ।মজার বিষয় হচ্ছে আমরা চাইলেই এই ড্রাইভ লেটারগুলি নিজের ইচ্ছামত পরিবর্তন করে ফেলতে পারি।অনেক সময় পেন্ড্রাইভ দিয়ে উইন্ডোস সেটাপ দিলে পেন্ড্রাইভ টা স্বয়ংস্ক্রিয় ভাবেই সিস্টেম ড্রাইভের পরে এসে বাকী ড্রাইভগুলিকে ঠেলে নামিয়ে দেয় এক ধাপ নিচে।তখনো এই পদ্ধতি প্রয়োগ করে ড্রাইভগুলি সুবিন্যস্ত করা যাবে।
নিচের ছবিতে দেখুন আমার ড্রাইভগুলি এখন আছে অগোছালো অবস্থায়।[ডুয়াল বুট নিয়ে টানাহেচরা করার পর]

এবার এগুলি পরিবর্তন করতে চাইলে প্রথমেই ডেস্কটপে Computer/My Computer /This PC আইকনে রাইট ক্লিক করে Manage এ ক্লিক করুন নিচের ছবির মত। উইন্ডোস এক্সপি ব্যাবহারকারীদের জন্য ভিন্নও হতে পারে।

এবার নিচের মত দেখতে পাবেন

ছবিতে বাম দিকে দেখানো Disk Management এ ক্লিক করুন অথবা তার উপর দিয়ে Storage লেখাতে Double Click করে  Disk Management এ ক্লিক করুন।একই কথা। তাহলে নিচের মতো আপনার ড্রাইভের সমস্ত ইনফরমেশন দেখাবে।

এবার যেই ড্রাইভের লেটার পরিবর্তন করতে চান,তার উপর রাইট ক্লিক করে Change Drive Letter and Paths এ ক্লিক করলে যথারীতি নিচের মত পাবেন।আমি E ড্রাইভ নিলাম


Click Change

ইচ্ছামত ইংরেজী যেকোন বর্ন নির্বাচন করুন।যেই বর্নগুলা ব্যাবহৃত হচ্ছে সেগুলা দেখাবে না।

Click Ok

আবার OK দিন।ভয়ের কিছু নাই।

Auto Play অন করা থাকলে উইন্ডোস অনুসারে Auto Play Window দেখাবে।লেটার চেঞ্জ হওয়ার জন্য প্রথমবার এটা Removable Disk হিসেবে দেখাবে ।কেটে দিতে পারেন Auto Play.
এবার My Computer / This PC তে গিয়ে দেখুন,এখানে আমার E Drive S Drive হয়ে গেছে।

এখন যেহেতু C Drive এরপর আমার পরবর্তি Dive F  , তাই পেন্ড্রাইভ / SD Card বা এক্সটার্নাল কোন স্টোরেজ ঢোকানোর পর সেটা C এর পরের ড্রাইভ হিসেবে প্রদর্শন করবে।

এই পদ্ধতিতে সিস্টেম ড্রাইভ[যে ড্রাইভে উইন্ডোস দেওয়া আছে] ছাড়া সব ড্রাইভ ইচ্ছামতো পরিবর্তন করতে পারবেন।সিস্টেম ড্রাইভ লেটার পরিবর্তন করা এরচেয়ে অনেক বেশি কস্টসাধ্য সময়সাপেক্ষ এবং তাতে রেজিস্ট্রি এডিটর নিয়ে কাজ করার দরুন হার্ডিস্কের জন্য অনেক বেশি ঝুকিসাধ্য।এটা নিয়ে আরেকদিন কথা হবে।আজকে এই পর্যন্তই।
